This has been the best Morel season by far around here. A mild winter plus a wet spring equals total mycological nirvana!

anti-water dogs and the last Huckleberry

both of these dogs are weenies when it comes to water. This is about as close as they get to it.

the huckleberries were abundant this year, this was the only one I could find today that wasn't shriveled up. I ate it anyway.

July 25th hike

Far too hot to be hiking. I got to the top of the ridge and laid down for about 15 minutes. The dogs looked pissed at me.
